Taste
Description

Cherries | rose | pepper

Bright ruby red with light garnet hues, clear and medium intensity in the glass. The wine shows youthful vibrancy and clarity.

The bouquet is fresh and inviting, with aromas of red cherries, wild strawberries, and raspberries. Subtle floral notes of violet and rose emerge, accompanied by a gentle hint of dried herbs and a touch of white pepper. There is also a delicate earthy undertone that adds complexity.

On the palate, the wine is light to medium-bodied with a lively acidity that enhances its freshness. Flavors mirror the nose, with juicy red berries and a slightly savory, mineral edge. Tannins are fine and well-integrated, providing structure without overwhelming the fruit. The finish is clean and refreshing, with lingering notes of cherry and a slight almond bitterness typical of the region.

Pairings

Meat | Pasta | Sopressa | vegetables

This is a classic expression of Valpolicella, focused on elegance and drinkability rather than power. Perfect as an aperitif or paired with cured meats, pasta with tomato-based sauces, grilled vegetables, or soft cheeses.
