The autumn foliage enveloped my journey through the Casentino Valley in a mystical light, and the time spent listening to him share his insights on wine and vineyards was a pleasure I never wanted to end. “CUNA” is a rare and remarkable endeavor, born from the heart of a man who embodies the same values. In a region renowned for Sangiovese, Federico has chosen to place his entire bet on Pinot Noir. Clay and limestone, depth and elegance—these are the elements he sought to highlight, and this is precisely what he achieved, in complete harmony with the deep respect he has for both his land and his craft.
