Fastigiu

The wine comes from a 2016 vineyard with an east-facing exposure at an altitude of 400 meters.

With its evocative name, Sale del Macigno is almost a metaphor for the wine itself: the soil is formed from the breakdown of the underlying stone (macigno), which imparts a distinctive mineral character to the glass. Its low alcohol content, combined with bright fruit and a subtle spiciness, makes this wine both elegant and incredibly fun to drink.

Taste
Description

Strawberry | herbs | blueberry

The term “Fastigiu” means in Sardinian ‘courtship’ – two grape varieties with contrasting characteristics have been paired together. The taste reflects this tension, with these distinct grapes chasing each other, trying to complete one another and become one, without losing a sometimes intense dialogue.
